This page was made because Saint Images suggested I make a photography shrine. Go check their photos out too! They are much better at photography than me. I take photos mostly with a point-and-shoot film camera (a Nikon ZOOM 600 AF i found at one of the then last non-gentrified thrift stores of Thessaloniki for 20 euros, major steal). I take photos mostly with film because I like its imperfections, the grain, the noise, the washed out colors, the low sharpness, the blur. Usually shoot with B&W film, I like the way it puts the focus of every photo on the lighting and the shadows. I like to photograph grimy shit. I also take a lot of photos of my friends, but do not feel comfortable sharing their faces online, sorry! The winter of 2023-2024 I took a lot of photos with my DSi camera because I couldn't afford to buy film. I plan to include these here someday.
Please note that while some photos might seem broken, they're still there! Just click on them :) . Not sure what's causing some of them to not appear. I'm pretty sure it's random which ones are feeling shy every time!

Inspired by 7nonsense's photography using Game Boy cameras, Sony Mavicas and many more. I did not realize how much of a challenge taking photos with a DSi camera would be. Setting aside the obvious problem of really low resolution, the lack of zoom and especially the lack of flash is really limiting to the types of photos one can take with the DSi. No flash + really low resolution also makes night photography a nightmare, it is so noisy and dark that you can't really make out what's going unless there is a light source in the photo itself. On the other hand, day photos can look from too clean and crisp to just perfect, they have a distinct 2000s quality about them that makes them nostalgic to me. Photos taken from autumn and winter 2023.
Self-explanatory, Thessaloniki various. Most of these were shot with Ilford HP5, 400 ISO. Click image to see it enlarged in a new tab (def did not steal this idea from Saint Images ).
One of my friends had the necessary chemicals to produce a film negative at home. Since I found that out I've been going to his house to develop DIY film negatives. It saves me a bit of money, is an excuse to hang out and makes the films filthier and grimier (this is good!). The following photos were from said films.
While I prefer B&W film, color film is also very pretty. I've only shot two canisters, one with 24 and another with 36 photos, but I only have the first in digital form and not looking to convert the other one anytime soon. Enjoy the limited stuff I have here. Do not remember what film this is.
Berlin vacation trip with friends. Half of these are shot with a B&W film that is developed like color films and has ultra-high contrast. I do not remember its name but it's gorgeous.
Trip to UK. It's tough to understand the northern accents. My favourite part of every trip is the food.
Never in my life could I have imagined that I would be able to travel so far from home. I am so grateful that it happened. Naturally, my favorite part of the trip was the food, Korean cuisine is awesome. This was summer 2023, but I postponed developing the Ilford HP5s until February 2024, partly due to boredom and disinterest, but mostly due to my strenuous financial situation. You can imagine my surprise when the photos I don't remember shooting at all came out looking awesome. Enjoy!
That's all for now! Really! I have no more noteworthy photos I want to show off. Hope the ones here made you feel something!
