This page was made because Saint Images suggested I make a photography shrine. Go check their photos out too! They are much better at photography than me. I take photos mostly with a point-and-shoot film camera (a Nikon ZOOM 600 AF i found at one of the then last non-gentrified thrift stores of Thessaloniki for 20 euros, major steal). I take photos mostly with film because I like its imperfections, the grain, the noise, the washed out colors, the low sharpness, the blur. Usually shoot with B&W film, I like the way it puts the focus of every photo on the lighting and the shadows. I like to photograph grimy shit. I also take a lot of photos of my friends, but do not feel comfortable sharing their faces online, sorry! The winter of 2023-2024 I took a lot of photos with my DSi camera because I couldn't afford to buy film. I plan to include these here someday.
I split the main photovault page in many smaller ones! When all the photos were in one page some wouldn't load for some reason... Maybe all the requests were quite a burden on catbox.

It's a bit misleading to give the diy-produced film photos a separate section anymore, since this is now the standard way I develop photos, I hang out with my friend once every six months or so when I have a couple of canisters waiting and then we develop the photos together. Anyway, enjoy the photos! Also the following are hosted on my own website instead of catbox. I have compressed them quite aggresively so they might look a bit crunchier than most of the photos on here. Thessaloniki, mostly. Click on an image to enlarge it!
Self-explanatory, Thessaloniki various. Most of these were shot with Ilford HP5, 400 ISO. Click image to see it enlarged in a new tab (def did not steal this idea from Saint Images ).
One of my friends had the necessary chemicals to produce a film negative at home. Since I found that out I've been going to his house to develop DIY film negatives. It saves me a bit of money, is an excuse to hang out and makes the films filthier and grimier (this is good!). The following photos were from said films.
